The board of directors of the foundation are pleased to announce are most recent grant disbursement, which was awarded to Whonnock Elementary for their emerging music program. Former chair and director, Perry Bateson had the following to say:
When Mr Westby, the teacher responsible for creating the new music program, contacted our foundation, we knew his request was a perfect fit for the funds we raise for granting purposes. Therefor, we are pleased to announce that a $750 dollar grant was awarded to Whonnock Elementary to be used towards the purchase of music stands, a music cart, and teacher music guides.
